To join the Angus Reid Forum, you must be at least 18 years of age and currently reside in United States. You must first register with a valid email address and complete a short registration form with some basic information about you. We'll then send you a link to confirm and verify your email address.
Upon registration, we'll collect your contact details including name, email, and a bit of information about you. In subsequent surveys, we'll ask for some additional demographic information on items such as income, education, household composition and a few others. Collecting this information will help us ensure we have a wide range of members that represent the true American population, and enable us to invite you to surveys that matter most to you.
To update your profile, simply login to your account. Once you are signed in, you can navigate to 'Account' to update information about you and your household. To update your name or email address, please click on the 'My Account' button located at the top of the screen.

Surveys
You can expect to receive at least one survey per month. All surveys you complete will earn you points redeemable for e-gift cards (i.e., Amazon, Visa, and Walmart).
If you are invited to participate in a survey, we will always send you an invitation via email. You can also check to see which surveys you've been invited to by logging into your account on angusreidforum.com and navigating to the 'My Surveys' area on your member dashboard.
Factors that determine how many points are awarded for each survey include length, topic and/or complexity.
It is possible that the link is spread across two or more lines of email. Try copying and pasting the full link into your browser's address bar.
Please contact support@angusreidforum.com and provide details on what you are having difficulties with. Our support team will respond as soon as possible to assist you.
Some surveys are looking for specific types of people with certain characteristics. Other times, we've reached the maximum number of participants within a certain demographic, which helps ensure we have representative answers to the population of interest.
Even if you do not qualify to continue on in a survey, we still appreciate your effort. In some cases, a partial point credit may be awarded.
Points
All active members will obtain an Angus Reid Forum points account in which you will be eligible to earn points from completing some of the surveys you are invited to participate in. Each time you complete a longer "paid" survey your account will be updated and credited. The number of points received for each survey may vary and will be announced prior to each survey.
To check your points balance, login to your account at angusreidforum.com and navigate to the 'Rewards' area on your member dashboard.
When your account reaches the point equivalent of $25 (i.e. 2500 points) you may redeem your points. Redeeming points in amounts less than $25 is not permitted.
Points never expire as long as you continue to be an active member of the Angus Reid Forum and as long as the points program remains in effect. However, if you unsubscribe from the Angus Reid Forum or if your membership is terminated, your points account will be closed and all points will be forfeited.
Privacy
Your email address will not be forwarded to third parties unless you give explicit permission, so you will not receive spam as a result of your participation in the Angus Reid Forum. For more information, please see our privacy policy.
Any personal information we collect remains completely confidential and is strictly used for research purposes only. Some of the information we collect allows us to analyze results by subgroups. To ensure your total privacy, your answers are grouped together with other members who completed the same survey and the results are only viewed in aggregate, so we never trace responses back to any single panelist. For more information, please see our privacy policy.
